Hello – we are your year 5 teachers.

Hi, I’m Mrs Hollingworth and my class are The Magnificent Monkeys. I am also the leader of Forest Schools and love taking the children outside to explore nature, learn new skills and share some exciting experiences. I find the outdoors to be a great way to develop confidence and teamwork and love our residential to Whitehall.

Hi! I’m Mrs Key and I’m class teacher (Monday to Wednesday) of The Tigers. I love learning and helping others led me into teaching, and I still enjoy discovering something new every day. When I’m not in the classroom, you’ll usually find me spending time with my family, keeping fit, or exploring new places. I’m looking forward to a fantastic year together.

Hi, I’m Mr Dunnachie and I teach across year 5 on a Wednesday morning. On Thursday and Friday, I am class teacher for The Tigers. When I am not in school I like football (watching more than playing now). My favourite subjects are Maths because I love numbers; English because I love telling stories and Science because I like to know how things work.

Important information

-The school gates open at 8.40am. The school day starts at 8.45am.

-The school day finishes at 3.20pm. As per school policy, any pupil not collected on time will be put in after school club.  

-PE is currently outside on a Monday afternoon and swimming on a Thursday afternoon. Pupils will need a full PE kit on a Monday and swimming kit along with towel and a coat on Thursday.  Earrings must be removed or taped up.

-Pupils must have a coat in school at all times as we do go outside for breaktime even if it is drizzling.

-Pupils must have a water bottle in school at all times as they are encouraged to drink throughout the day.

-Your child should read at home four times a week and this should be recorded in their reading diary.
